The Budongo Forest is home to
about 800 chimpanzees. There is a habituation program that started in
1992 to learn about their habits, share access to them but protect them
at the same time. This was terrifying and fun at the same time. The
noise level from the chimps was ear piercing and constant running around
kept you alert every minute. Sandy had one come by and take a swipe
at her.
