Mountain Gorillas Trek Day Two

The second day's hike was definitely the most difficult of the two days. They are called Mountain gorillas and this family was located up in the mountains. A narrow trail (until we got to the "shortcut" again a machete chopped pathway into the forest) was steep, rocky, full of holes and necessitated holding your porter's hand for much of it and occasionally someone giving you a push from behind which I said "Thank You" and laughed.

This family of Gorillas were located in an area where there were few trees for them to climb, but many bushes. Once again we were charged immediately by the Silverback, but just reminding us who was in charge. They are very protective of the babies, often spending time laying in the bushes with them.
