Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna & Prague

Our trip with Tauck Tours took us through Eastern Europe. The trip started in Warsaw, Poland, home of 19th-century composer Fredric Chopin. We were given a private concert by an amazing pianist. We then traveled to Cracow where we viewed the sad and sobering memorial and museum at the Auschwitz concentration camp. From here through the Tatra Mountains to Budapest. The lights of the bridges and buildings were beautiful on a Danube River cruise. The smell of chocolate led us to Vienna and a fun strudel making demonstration and "tasting". The last destination was Prague which is a beautiful city and one of the few not destroyed and then rebuilt. This was a trip filled with history, statues, monuments and architecture.
