This was an exciting sighting.
We were told by some other jeeps they had spotted a tiger going up across
some rock onto a ridge, so our driver spun a U-turn, hit the gas pedal,
climbed up a rock path and there was Tiger # 64 walking toward us. A
beautiful male that passed about 6 feet away from Brian's side of the
jeep. They normally don't like to have them that close, but could tell
by the behavior the tiger was following the scent of a female and completely
ignored us.
